I have a 45 year old massey ferguson tractor, would it be okay to switch to synthetic oil for the engine?

i have always used conventional engine oil in all the time i have had this tractor.I have a 45 year old massey ferguson tractor, would it be okay to switch to synthetic oil for the engine?
Having sold synthetics for over 20 years I can tell you that it would do your tractor a favor from the reduced stress. The only caution you have to keep in mind is if there are any leaks in your motor then the synthetics will leak out faster than conventional oil. If your motor is tight go and find an Amsoil dealer and fill er up. You will be doing your tractor and the invironment a favor.I have a 45 year old massey ferguson tractor, would it be okay to switch to synthetic oil for the engine?
You could, but why? Just keep the oil clean.
