Im trying to change it to synthetic oil, is it possible to change my regular oil to full synthetic?

i currently drive camry 07. everyone says full synthetic is the best. i'm currently using regular 5w-30. i'm trying to change it to full synthetic. but some people said that before you go to full synthetic, use synthetic BLEND first then after that use full synthetic. is this the right way or can i just use it right away to full synthetic.Im trying to change it to synthetic oil, is it possible to change my regular oil to full synthetic?
you can go full synthetic now but to keep oil viscosity the same if you go low on oil use the same weight and full synthetic same if you use regular dont add a 10w30 oil when most of your oil 5w30 it makes it inconsistent.....Im trying to change it to synthetic oil, is it possible to change my regular oil to full synthetic?
You can switch immediately. Here's a link with alot of general info on oil, viscosity numbers, filters, etc. http://www.amsoil.com/lit/g52.pdf

You didn't say what engine you have, I'm assuming the V6 since it calls for 5W-30. The 4 cylinder models call for 5W-20 or 0W-20. Here's some links to Amsoil's offerings for your car: http://www.amsoil.com/lit/databulletins/鈥?/a>

Good luck!
you can switch from full syn. back and forth to conv. oil all you want that is just a misconception that many people had when full synthetics first came out it was because mechanics did not understand or trust a full syntheic now with testing companies like mobile 1 have proved that switching does no harm to the engine like the other person said just stick to the recomended viscoscty of oil
You can just use full synthetic right away. Use the same grade of oil eg. if the regular oil is 5w30 then use the same 5w30 in synthetic. There is no reason to use a blend first. The only reason someone might say this is that it is cheaper oil than full synthetic and they probably keep that in stock at the workshop.
yep, you can switch to the full synthetic directly, without a problem. be advised though, synthetic will find a leak faster than any other oil .
