For years I have used Synthetic oil in my truck. Can I change to regular oil without damaging my engine?

No you can't change it back to regular OIL, if you do engine will fail to work.


I know this from my close friend's experience and have also heard from a lot of people (who are mechanics).

It is a common myth that you cannot switch back and forth between conventional motor oil and synthetic. We are pleased that all of our Castrol oils are fully compatible with one another and there's no cause for concern If you should choose to switch from one to another.
yep, you just have to change your oil more frequently unlike synthetics... you might even save a buck or two in the end.
