Is there any advantage to using synthetic oil on a 2004 Camry with 75,000 miles?

I have a 2004 Camry with 75,000 miles. I have change the oil every 5,000 miles in accordance with the manufactures guide. I have used quality oil Penzoil 5W- 30W and Fram filters. The car does not burn oil from oil change to oil change and runs great. Is there anything to gain by changing to a synthetic oil at this time ?Is there any advantage to using synthetic oil on a 2004 Camry with 75,000 miles?
if you change your oil regularly not really thing about synthetic oil it does not break down as fast as regular oil does it can last up to and pass 10,000 miles but doesnt mean one should drive it that long where regular oil 5000 pushing it sometimesIs there any advantage to using synthetic oil on a 2004 Camry with 75,000 miles?
Synthetic oils do not break down like conventional does. They last longer, and are better for people who do short distance commutes frequently, long idling, or long highway miles.

I'm not really a fan of Penzoil, but to each their own. I just buy whatever 10W30 Full Synthetic is on sale. Haha.

In the end, it's whatever your wallet can afford. You seem to take good care of your vehicle, so even with conventional oils, your engine will probably outlast your ownership with it.
you might gain a little extra gas mileage, it will lubricate the engine better and you will be able to go longer between oil changes, other than that there are no other advantages.
if by advantage you mean longer engine life, better hp and higher mpg, yes.

otherwise no.

independent testing has shown that a premium oil will offer about the same protection at 6000 miles as conventional oil offers when it's still in the bottle.

independent testing by tuner magazines has found that a good synthetic will improve HP by 2-7% in ANY motor, not just hi performance ones, and improves MPG's comparably. this was found by tuner testing in Australia, Europe and the US.

castrol offers a 250k engine warranty if you use their conventional oil and a 400k warranty if you use synthetics. no matter what the initial engine was.

valvoline offers NO warranty on their conventional oil but 300k on their synthetic. any motor, performance or otherwise.
Stay with your current program. Going longer between oil changes will just get more carbon in the oil. (No matter which oil you use).
If you had started earlier it would have helped.;Just use a good quality motor oil specified far you camry. Also stay with changing the oil every 4-5 K
There isn't really going to be any advantage in that car. Synthetic oils don't really provide an edge unless they're either in a high performance or heavy duty application.
Synthetics allow you to extend your oil change intervals. They provide better protection at start up and offer better protection in extreme weather (hot and cold).

If you want to go to 8000-10,000 miles between oil changes, switch to synthetics. But you are using one of the best conventional oils on the market, and 5000 miles is a plenty safe oil change interval. If its working for you, I say stick with it.
