Is synthetic oil really worth the money or is there not very much difference between the non-syn oil?

Is synthetic oil really worth the money or is there not very much difference between the non-syn oil???

A non-syn oil change is like $25.00, give or take while a synthetic oil change is like $40.00 to $50.00. Is there a noticeable difference while driving your car? If your car is already 6 1/2 years old with 70,000 miles, is it pointless to start using synthetic oils?Is synthetic oil really worth the money or is there not very much difference between the non-syn oil?
lubricates better than regular oil and you can go 6 to 8 thousand miles between oil changes and will help improve gas mileage as the engine is running easier with it's lubricating qualities so you have less friction, if your car uses any oil or has oil leaks I would advise you not to use it as it will use more with synthetic. Is synthetic oil really worth the money or is there not very much difference between the non-syn oil?
Yes, it is worth it.

Synthetic oil provides greater protection as time goes by since it is more resistant to breaking down as well as provides improved protection. It won't make a noticeable difference while driving, but it will keep your engine running longer and you might even see a small improvement in your gas mileage.

Also, the cost is the same or less than normal oil. Normal oil lasts 5,000 miles while synthetic lasts 10,000 miles, which makes up for the cost difference usually since normally the oil filter is changed at every oil change. Also it's nice not having to change your oil as often.

But as always, it's your choice.

Good luck!
In my opinion synthetic is worth every dime, I use it in both of my vehicle's, used it in the last car I had and ran the millage up to 300,000 klm the motor didn't have a tick or anything.

And you'll a little hp out of it.
last longer, better for your engine internals.it's worth it. if your ride is almost 7 with that low of mileage you'll be cool.
