Why is Synthetic Oil now over twice as much as it was before oil prices went up?

I used to buy Mobil1 fully synthetic at 3.39 a quart now they want 7.39?!? This is synthetic why would it cost so much more now? I think we are being robbed.Why is Synthetic Oil now over twice as much as it was before oil prices went up?
because the prices went up on crude oil synthetic is premium oil so its refined several times, with additives, so when the price rockets up on crude so does the price on premiumWhy is Synthetic Oil now over twice as much as it was before oil prices went up?
I think it's because even though it's SYNTHETIC oil, it is a ';premium'; product that came on the market when regular motor oil was relatively cheap and the manufacturers of the stuff MUST keep the price of their ';superior product'; at a higher price and reap the benefit of a GREATER profit.
Mobile1 has been $25-$30 for a 6 pack case from Sams Club for over 3 yrs, now it is $30-$35, not such a drastic increase here in Houston.
CUZ THERE'S NO OIL IN IT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!WE ARE BEING ROBBED!!! HAVE THE OIL COMPANIES EVER REALLY LOST MONEY FISCALLY....NO PROFITS?? HECK-NO!! Our Govt. loves it, more for them too!
